A letter to you
Hello there, my friend!
I wanted to write this letter to you to let you know that I see you and all the hard work you’ve been doing. I know you are tired and feeling overwhelmed by the state of your home. You feel like you are drowning in stuff and just don’t know where to start.
You have probably had thoughts (or even had people tell you) that you should be able to do it yourself. You should be able to organise your home. But here is the thing – it’s too much. For you, for me, for pretty much every mum I know. We all need help sometimes.
How do I know? Well, I’ve been where you are. I know what it feels like. The physical, emotional, and mental toll of managing it ALL. It is exhausting and not something that should be carried alone.
But often it is.
And I am sorry if that is the case for you. I wish I could wave a magic wand and fix it for you but I can’t. Instead, this is my way of helping.
In case you need a reminder
You are not lazy.
You are not dumb.
You are not inadequate.
You my friend are actually extremely capable! You just need a helping hand hitting the reset button on your home. There is no shame in that.
I believe in you
I am here to guide you, support you and cheer you on every step of the way. What you need to do is believe in yourself too. And if you can’t do that right now, that’s okay, I’ve got you.
It might feel overwhelming right now but I promise you that it will get easier. It will take work and a willingness to make changes in your life but it is doable! This is fixable.
I want you to imagine how light things will feel when this burden is removed.
How much easier it will be for you to breathe.
Imagine what it would feel like when you don’t have to spend all of your time tidying up!
You’ll be able to find things.
You’ll know where things go.
You’ll realise that you have enough and that you are enough. That it is okay to let go and make room for the important things: your family, your health and your happiness.
Now, take a breath.
